Big News for a Greener, Safer, and Healthier Texas!

The Texas Trees Foundation is thrilled to announce a $25 million investment from the State of Texas to support the SWMD Urban Streetscape and Park Transformation Project<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 a visionary public-private initiative to reimagine over two miles of the Harry Hines Corridor in the heart of Dallas\u2019s medical district.

Thanks to legislative champions such as Senator Royce West<\/strong><\/a>, Representative Rafael Anchia<\/strong><\/a>, Senator Tan Parker<\/strong><\/a>, Representatives Morgan Meyer and Angie Chen Button<\/strong><\/a>, Venton Jones, MSHCAD, PMP<\/strong><\/a>, and others, this funding accelerates a bold plan to:

– Advance critical infrastructure
– Combat urban heat with 4,000+ trees
– Enhance public health and safety
– Create an 8-acre Green Park oasis
– Deliver over $1.69 billion in economic impact
