Salado Park – tree planting March 25, 2017

40+ volunteers came out on Saturday 3/25/17 to plant trees at Salado Park . We even had 6th grade Bowie youngsters helping and some tots too!. It was an enjoyable community event. Citizen foresters provided guidance to volunteers on how to prepare the holes for planting trees and the correct procedure to ensure the trees were planted correctly.

Trees and hole digging were provided by the City of Dallas Parks Maintenance Dept. We thank Jeremy McMahon, Sloan Anderson, Jason Hagen and the working crew.
